George's Marvellous Bike Ride is an annual charity ride. It was started in 2012 in memory of George Hutchings who had quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. George was nine when he died and GMBR's aim is to raise money for youngsters with Cerebral Palsy and the charities/organisations/groups who do so much to enhance their lives.
UPDATE May 2018:
As you probably noticed, George's Marvellous Bike Ride had a 'fallow year' in 2017, but we are delighted to say that we are back for 2018 and raring to go!
This year's charity bike ride, which takes in the scenic Kennet and Avon Canal, the Two-Tunnels route and historic city of Bath will take place on Sunday 2nd September, starting and finishing in Bradford-on-Avon.
Over the years our cyclists have helped George's Marvellous Bike Ride to raise thousands of pounds for very worthy causes, so please put the date in your diary and get ready to join us again for another fun day of cycling.
