George's Marvellous Bike Ride is an annual charity event. It was started in 2012 in memory of George Hutchings who had quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. George was nine when he died and GMBR's aim is to raise money for youngsters with life-limiting conditions and the charities and organisations who do so much to enhance their lives.
September 2019:
This year's charity bike ride, which takes in the scenic Kennet and Avon Canal, the Two-Tunnels route and historic city of Bath will take place on Sunday 1st September 2019, starting and finishing in Bradford-on-Avon.
Last year our riders raised over £3,500 for two worthy charities (Stepping Stones and Scope). This year we are raising money for Stepping Stones again.
Best wishes
Team GMBR
